And they left us...A tribute to Jini And Merin

Since the inception of The Spairoz as a youth group on October 4th, 2008, Jini and Merin were one of the most active members.

As time passed and group grew...So did the persona and the charm of Jini n merin got going...they have been the life of the group...and would literally make things happen at the youth fellowship every saturday at The Spairoz center..
But time and tide waits for none. Jini and merin migrated to USA with their parents yesterday.
I have seen them from the very childhood and as they walked into the IGI Airport in New Delhi last night..I saw potential walking into USA..they will always remain the founding members of The Spairoz..They were a blessing for The Spairoz and will remain so...
but we will miss them..God bless Jini and Merin and we need God to provide us people like Jini and Merin for the ministry of The Spairoz. Amen.
We The Spairoz extend our heart felt appreciation to Jini and Merin and acknowldge their service to The Spairoz till now..but this is not all..we look forward for greater and higher cooperation in the future as the Lord permits in the coming days.

Another life wasted

Trained in the best of the colleges and got well equipped in his skill. but chose to obey the Lord's call. He's not just another missionary but A Missionary to Bihar. what a waste of life when one could have shephereded flocks in God's own country. Some may say he is stupid in doing so. But this is what happens when one obeys the Lord's call and sets off for the roller coaster drive. The world may call him a fool, but the master is fond of him.
Sam P Mathew, born and brought up in Tiruvalla, Kerala, did his schooling there. In his youth the Lord called him for HIS ministry and yes Sam gave it to the Lord. He then left for north India. He studied the word of God in a college in Delhi for 3 years and then did his Bachelors of Divinity from NTC, Dehradun. Since then he had a passion for Bihar. After his graduation Sam went to Bihar.
Sam recently got married to Saumya who also has a passion for north INDIA.

Please do pray for Sam and Saumya that the Lord may use them mightily and bless them abundantly.
Its is not a waste, but an investment.

Shaping up life with God

Life is full of surprises, full of turnings, unexpected accidents, but there is a lot to learn from it and you pick the best and throw the worst .It helps one to learn and accept the hard facts which we never bother to learn. It makes us to do, what we don’t think to.
Life is a lump of clay in the hands of God, who is the perfect potter .We intend to shape our life as we wish, but our wishes turns our life to be in a worst situation of abnormality. But God in His mercy sees us as a perfect vessel in His hand by removing all that hinders us to be a perfect pot. He cleans us up and then breaks us and then again He would mould us as beautiful pot with a perfect shape which we often think as the funniest part of life.
God, being compassionate, looks compassionately at the lump in His hand! Looks so weird and shapeless and no sense of beauty but once He completes His work of shaping, He pauses for a while and looks at the shaped lump of clay and admires His work as so good!
Friends, when we try to shape our life with our own understanding our shape will be weird and ugly and ends up in chaos. So why should we tarry in surrendering our life to Him so that we would be shaped in the likeness of His son Jesus Christ. As a result we would enjoy a perfect shape in our life and see a better future for tomorrow. God always promises that He would be with us and He is interested in shaping us.

You missed it......Dallupura ministry

Last sunday we had guests at our village ministry. It was none other but Dear Benjamin with his wife Sheba and sweet daughter Tina. They were accompanied by their Pastor Pr. Leenose.
They were actually with us to celebrate Tina's birthday with Sunday School Gems of Dallupura. It was a splendid time.
The kids sang and danced in praising God. Tina sang a beautiful song. We then prayed for Tina and blessed her. Brother Benjamin and Sister Sheba then gave out snacks and gifts to all the kids. It was a wonderful gesture.

They joined us in worship service after the Sunday School.
Pr. Leenose ministered from the word and also prayed for the seekers.

Please do pray for the pray for the blessings of the minstry in Dallupura Village.

It's not going to last

Life is something which we will never understand.
But one thing is for sure that CHANGE IS CONSTANT. What we see today is not what will stand tommorow. The situation through which we are going today will not last.
Several times we just try to gain sympathy by telling others about our troubles and situtaion. But when the times changes as it does, we want others to forget our past. As if it's just formatting a USB. But it's not.
Lets us understand that we won't stay in this same situtaions all through our life. Whether its SPIRITUAL, PHYSICAL, FINANCIAL and etc, things are set to change, and they will.
So lets stop gaining sympathy through our situations. Lets us share our sorrows but no gaining sympathy.
So what's the solution...
1 Pray and beleive that things will change
2 Stay Positive...same old idea... but it works.

Kids view on Life

TOILETS: My son Zachary, 4, came screaming out of the bathroom to tell me
he'd dropped his toothbrush in the toilet. So I fished it out and threw it in the garbage. Zachary stood there thinking for a moment, then ran to my bathroom and came out with my toothbrush. He held it up and said with a charming little smile, "We better throw this one out too then, 'cause it fell in the toilet a few days ago."

YMCA: A little boy got lost at the YMCA and found himself in the women's locker room. When he was spotted, the room burst into shrieks, with ladies grabbing towels and running for cover. The little boy watched in amazement and then asked, "What's the matter haven't you ever seen a little boy before?"

POLICE # 1: While taking a routine vandalism report at an elementary school I was interrupted by a little girl about six years old. Looking up and down at my uniform, she asked, "Are you a cop?" "Yes," I answered and continued writing the report. "My mother said if I ever needed help I should ask the police, Is that right?" "Yes, that's right," I told her. "Well, then," she said as she extended her foot toward me, "would you please tie my shoe?"

POLICE # 2: It was the end of the day when I parked my police van in front of the station. As I gathered my equipment, my K-9 partner, Jake, was barking, and I saw a little boy staring in at me. "Is that a dog you got back there? he asked. "It sure is," I replied. Puzzled, the boy looked at me and then towards the back of the van. Finally, he said, "What'd he do?"

ELDERLY: While working for an organization that delivers lunches to elderly shut-ins, I used to take my four-year-old daughter on my afternoon rounds. She was unfailingly intrigued by the various appliances of old age, particularly the canes, walkers and wheelchairs. One day I found her staring at a pair of false teeth soaking in a glass. As I braced myself for the inevitable barrage of questions, she merely turned and whispered, "The tooth fairy will never believe this!"

SCHOOL: A little girl had just finished her first week of school. "I'm just wasting my time," she said to her mother. "I can't read, I can't write and they won't let me talk!"

Two plans for our life...

Its really amazing to know that God has a plan for each one of us...you have heard it several times. Every preacher and prophet says that. need not tell you.
But what is more terrifying is that Satan has a plan for each one of us as well. Unfortunately the satan's plan seems better several times and we just heed to it.
Just as God has ways and provisions to lead us and guide us. Satan too has schemes and plots to destroy us and crush us. God is the best manager, but satan is better conflict maker who diverts our attentions from God's plan.
The thing is we just don't understand that's God plan is a big picture whereas satan's is like instant coffee.
Sadly we have fallen for satan's plans for many a reasons...Let the Church stand against satan's plan and walk in God's plan.
God bless
